Old Scholars’ Science Centre
In July 2017, at a Special General Meeting of LOSA, it was resolved that LOSA would contribute $500,000 to Loreto College, Marryatville (‘the School’) for the Science Laboratories Redevelopment. The contribution is an acknowledgement of the importance of the redevelopment in the strategic direction of the School going forward, and the relationship between LOSA and the School.
Named “Old Scholars’ Science Centre”, the redevelopment will play an important role in supporting Loreto students attain careers in areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). LOSA is extremely proud of the role it played in financially supporting this capital works project.
Check out some of the photos from the Science Centre opening, which was held on Friday 22nd of March 2019 and officially opened by Federal Member for Sturt, the Hon. Christopher Pyne MP, amongst the College community and distinguished guests.
